I remember how he rubbed my hand, murmuring how one day he’d put a ring there. It felt like my heart was going to explode and I really thought that this was it and the rest of my life was meant to be with each other.
It’s weird as the day before, we were in an awful place and there was a clear disconnect. But we’d managed to reignite that spark and find happiness with each other. Spending the whole day in each others arms, the blinds down and watching Survivor. It was perfect.
Meeting Iris in person was also very special. She made me tea and we ate chocolate together. It was so nice spending time with her, and I think she knew deep down that Tyler and I were always doomed, but I appreciated her faith and trust in me when I assured her it would work.
Still, this recent release from Taylor; I hate to admit it, but he will always be the loss of my life.
