Sorry for the absence, folks! I was in Japan for the past three weeks and couldn’t post last week due to limited internet. Though, here’s a mini Easter Egg to satiate you!
During the novel, Tyler mentions having missed 23 calls from his mother. Della comments that this was an oddly specific number to mention—however, it is a very on the nose reference to the relationship that Fallen Through was based on.
The day in which I was ghosted was September 23rd. It is the only time that I mention 23 throughout the novel, so it’s definitely a “blink and you’ll miss it” kind of Easter Egg. However, as hinted at through reference to July 9th, dates were very important to our relationship, and this includes the day that it ended.
I definitely intertwined details of my personal life and relationship through Fallen Through, but this one is probably the most hidden as it’s only mentioned once.
