Sad Beautiful Tragic – Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version)
This was a tough one, and took me over a day to decide which song to allocate to this chapter. Honourable mentions, however, go to Like Gold by Vance Joy and Haunted by Taylor Swift.
With only two chapters to go and having Tyler pass away, it was almost impossible having a song to reflect the tone of this chapter. However, I settled on Taylor Swift’s Sad Beautiful Tragic as that’s what this story was… It was a tragedy.
So many questions left to be answered with the main one being “Why?”. Swift attempts to answer these in her beautiful ballad and it is very on par with the theme of the novel and this chapter in particular. Tyler was just a little too late and will remain broken, but Della still has a chance to make it big in this world.
With the final chapter next week, we will end this series and figure out how to wrap up Fallen Through after a significant death in just one chapter… A very difficult task, but not impossible.
